About me

About me

I am interested in how things work, why they are the way they are, and the connections that lie beneath the surface.

I studied business mathematics with a focus on computer science and now work in the transport industry. My analytical background also shapes the way I approach new topics: I do not just want to learn about them, but to understand them as thoroughly as I can.

My interests extend far beyond mathematics and computer science. They include classical music, other cultures and nature, as well as making things myself, finance, the environment and engineering. I am also interested in health, nutrition and exercise – particularly in how female physiology and the menstrual cycle can influence them.

Why this website?

This website is my personal collection of insights, ideas and connections that I discover and learn about over time. Through the blog, I want to explore topics in greater depth, record what I have learned and structure my thoughts in a way that I can return to later – and that others might find useful too.

Not everything here has to fit neatly into a single category. What connects it all is my curiosity and my desire to understand the world a little better.
